I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councllmember Reimann <br />authorizing City Staff research ordinances regarding Mr. Leininger's <br />situation and to placeMr. Leinin§er of M & L Liquors on the agenda for <br />the special Council meetin§ scheduled for June 6, 1983. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Drainage Problem On 180th Avenue NW And Erkium Street NW: <br /> <br />Richard'Aasen - 5449 180th Avenue - Mr. Aasen and some of his neighbors were <br />present and stated recent blacktopping and culvert installation has caused <br />drainage problems to the point where it is interfering with their on-site <br />septic systems. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that this area is in the floodway and solving the problem <br />might require a permit from DNR. <br /> <br />Mr. Aasen stated that there is an old drainage ditch in the area, that might <br />be blocked, which runs to the creek. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that Mr. Raatikka contact the person who owns the land <br />where the old drainage ditch is'located and possibly having the Ramsey Public <br />Works Department clean the drainage ditch might solve the problem. Mayor <br />Gamec also requested Mr. Raatikka to report back to Council regarding this <br />matter at their special Council meeting on June 6, 1983. <br /> <br />Case #1: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval; Case Of Mr. Robert Wojcik: <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Welchi~was present representing Mr. Robert Wojcik. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #83-87 to approve of Mr. Robert Wojcik's preliminary plat <br />~ontingent upon his compliance with the recommendations of the City Engineer <br />and City Attorney.. (.Please refer to resolution file fOr Resolution #83~87). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteber9, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For A Conditional Use Permit; Case Of Mr. Thomas Nedry: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to approve the findings of fact for Mr. Tom Nedry's conditional use permit <br />to operate a locksmith business in his residence. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voti'ngYes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that Council's policy is to urge businesses to <br />locate in commercial areas. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve Mr. Tom Nedry's request for a conditional use permit to operate a <br />locksmith business at his residence located at 7501 - 152nd Lane NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
