I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />TO: PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br /> RAMSEY CITY STAFF <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION BUSINESS <br /> <br />CASE #1: CHARTER COMMISSION PUBLIC INPUT COMMITTEE TO SPEAK WITH THE <br /> <br />CASE #2; <br /> <br />PARK BOARD MEMBERS: <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Buchanan and Mr. Richard Seiber of the Public Input <br />Committee for the Charter Commission will be attending the Park <br />Board meeting. <br /> <br />They will be asking for input from you as members of the Park <br />Board and as residents of Ramsey regarding the various items <br />they are doing research on for the preparation of the Charter. <br />It is their intention to be meeting with all of Ramsey's com- <br />missions for their input prior to the completion of the <br />Charter. <br /> <br />INFORMATIONAL: <br /> <br />The following items are for informational purposes only and do <br />not require Park Board action: <br /> <br />a) Creative Play Equipment - The Anoka-Hennepin School Board <br />has approved a donation of money to purchase creative play <br />equipment for the Ramsey Elementary School playground. From <br />what I understand, the equipment has been ordered and is only <br />a matter of time before it will be delivered. Upon its de- <br />livery the Ramsey Street Superintendent will be having it in- <br />stalled. <br /> <br />b) Central Park - The plans and specifications have been drawn <br />up for Central Park. They will be available for your inspection <br />and review at the meeting. The bid opening date has been set for <br />June 24, 1983 at 11:00 A.M. and any Park Board member who wishes <br />to attend this will be welcome. The bids!.will be tabulated and <br />a recommendation made to the City Council for approval at their <br />next regular meeting of June 28. <br /> <br /> <br />
