Buslngbudgets <br />were cut and the program attendance has dropped. Marc suggested the following improv- <br />ments: Adding a coordinator from existing Sandburg staff funded proportionally by <br />the school district, Ramsey and Anoka. Sandburg school agreed to contribute all <br />overhead items, secretarial help and additional tin~. Marc wants our comments prior <br />to going to the city council. RonMitchell will be lobbying the school district to <br />reinstate busing for Sandburg school Marc noted a 100 student per quarter drop at <br />Ramsey school when busing was curtailed. <br /> <br />Motion by Johnson and seconded bY Lichter to support the proposal presented by Marc <br />Hadley, from Community School, which is city funded for $2130 annually, to provide <br />support for the community school program at Sandburg school. <br /> <br />Creative play equipment price for Peltzer Park is $2060 this year. It has been <br />budgeted for this year. Terry McLeanwill work with Merle on the location of play <br />equipment in Peltzer Park. It was noted that the council must authorize purchase of <br />this equipment. The commission requested the council to consider this ar their <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Merle mentioned the neighbor 'south of Trott Brook Cemetary wanted to install a split <br />rail fence.
