I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I September 15, 1983 ~ SEP 1983 Dear Local Official: The Governor's Blue-Ribbon Citizens Commission to review the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission has recently received funding through the Governor's off&g'e for a staff person to continue its investigation into the organization, ~ administration and decision-making process of the MWCC. The Citizens Commission intends, in December, to issue a report to the Governor containing the findings and recommendations that result from its investigation. As part of the review process, we are soliciting comments from all those municipalities and counties who use the M~CC sewmge treatment facilities and are affected by MWCC operations. The Citizens Commission would appreciate your comments regarding MWCC interaction with your governmental unit, whether your needs are being met by existing MWCC operations, and suggestions as to what might be changed or improved, if you feel changes are necessary. It would be extremely useful to us if you would provide written comments and suggestions to the Citizens Commission at the following address within the next three weeks: Karen L.
