Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the folloving resolution and moved for its adoption: ~SOLOTIOm t83-173 KESOLUTIO~ HRCO~II~DIRG USES FOR ~EVENUE SHARIRG F0~DS ~II~EAS, the Council Budget Committee has recommended the following uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds in the City's 1984 Operational Budget which are hereby forwarded to the Council for review and action: PROPOSED USES Line Item 1790: Transfers a) Transfer to the General Fund to cover the cost of the following: 1) Rack for minutes 2) Desk and plat file 3) Asphalt saw 4) Police squad car 355 1,015 700 9,200 b) Transfer to the Parks Fund to cover the cost of the following: 1) Additional Central Park Development 49,000 2) Box Scraper 500 3} Grass seeder 2,500 41 Bleachers 2,102 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~ CITY COUNCIL, ¢11"I OF RAMSEY, A~OKA COU~I~, STATE OFMINNESOTA, as follows: 1) It is hereby directed that the above listed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds be incorporated in the City's 1984 Operational Budget. Further, any changes will have to be accomplished in accordance with current Federal and City regulations. It should be noted that this resolution transferring funds only designates use of Revenue Sharing Funds in the City budget. 2) The transfer of funds from Revenue Sharing to the General Fund or Park Fund will be accomplished by Council. 3) It is directed that the City Accountant be furnished a copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Oamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None Resolution %83-173
