I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br />'i I <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Mayor and Couneilmembers <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />Staff Report for October 1983 <br /> <br />1) Finance - The following is submitted on this item: <br /> <br /> a) Cash Flow Report for September 1983 - The cash flow report for <br />September is running approximately 8.7% ahead of the City Accountant's <br />projections which is a darn good feeling. <br /> <br /> b) Third Quarter Budget Report on Revenue and Expenditures (July <br />through September 1983) - This report contains a weaIth of information in <br />regards to how the City is progessing in 1983. <br /> <br />NOTE: The City Accountant will be available to discuss the above reports <br />with you in case you have any questions. Also, you may want to call her if <br />you want to review the total reports with her. <br /> <br />Z) Projects - The following is a list of projects, etc. that are still in process <br />here in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br /> a) Chapter 150.01 "Sewage Disposal Systems" of the City Code We <br />will be working on this during the month of November and will give a report <br />to Council as to what options are available and estimated budgeted costs for <br />each option in December 1983. <br /> <br /> b) Five (5) Year Capital Improvement Program - This will go to Council <br />in December 1983. The Planning and Zoning Commission will be holding the <br />public hearing on it in December. <br /> <br /> c) Ramsey Landfill - Council should be setting a date for completion <br />of the findings of fact on their landfill study. <br /> <br />d) General Filing System - This project will be finished this year. <br /> <br /> e) Local Development Corporation - This has been established and <br />is now at a complete standstill and I don't see it moving ahead until the City <br />Charter is adopted here in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> f) Public Improvements in regards to Utilities - The City has not received <br />anything from either Mr. Art Raudio or H & S Asphalt in regards to their two <br />proposed projects. I gather that H & S is busy putting their data together <br />as required by the City Code. We are in the process of billing out past costs <br />to both of the above developers. <br /> <br /> g) Police Labor Negotiations - We are commencing with this issue and <br />we will keep you informed on the progress. <br /> <br />3) State Aid Legal Case - As you have probably noticed, our case has been <br />set to go to court on April Z, 1984. We had hoped for a fall court date but <br />we didn't get it. This court date will give us one more time to try and get <br />legislation enacted that would treat the City of Ramsey fairly. <br /> <br />4) Police Officer's Case - Police Officer Mike Eason's court case has been <br />rescheduled for January Z, 1984. <br /> <br />LGSmic <br /> <br /> <br />
