I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />,I <br /> I <br /> <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE <br /> <br /> #83- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 170. known as the Planning, Subdivision and Signs <br />of Chapter 170. of the City Code. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 170.06 to the City Code and repealing Section <br />170.038F of the City Code. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br /> <br />A Chapter 170.06 is hereby added to the City Code, which Chapter <br />shall be as follows: <br /> <br />170.06 Park and Open Space Dedication Fee <br /> <br />170.061 PURPOSE <br /> <br />The purpose of this section is to provide funds which the <br />City shall dedicate and use only for the acquisition of <br />parks, playground,trails, or open space. An additional <br />purpose of this section is to provide a means by which the <br />City may require in conjunction with land subdivision that <br />a reasonable portion of any proposed subdivision be dedi- <br />cated to the public or preserved for public use as ~arks, <br />playgrounds, trails or open Space. ~,'~r <br />170.062 RESID.ER~TI.AL BUILDING PERMIT PARK FEE U~ <br /> / <br />A park fee equivalent to two and one-half/enths of one <br />percent (.0025) of the building permit~shall be col- <br />lected by the City from each applicant for a residential <br />dwelling unit, whether it be single family, multi family <br />or apartment building. <br /> <br />170.063 COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL BUILDING PERMIT PARK FEE <br />A park fee equivalent to~th of one percent ~.0010) <br />of the building permit ~shall be collected by the City <br />from each applicant upon the issuance of a building permit <br />for a new commercial or industrial building. <br /> <br />170.064 ALTERNATE DEDICATION OF PARKS AND OPEN SPACES <br /> <br />Notwithstanding Sections 170.062 and 170.063 above, the <br />City Council, in its discretion may elect in all new sub- <br />divisions to require eight percent (8%) of the gross area <br /> <br /> <br />
