Last Thursday Clayton Berg and I talked
to the Gillman's and they stated they would not sign a deed until they are
assured that Magnesium Street will be reconstructed in the center of the
proposed right of way. They said at the time of purchase of their home, they
were promised by the seller this would take place.

I have not spoken to Mr. Norm Holm since our conversation with Gillmans but I
am sure he will object to realigning the road..

Mr. Holm is presently questioning the need for resurfacing Magnesium Street as
recomended by City Staff. Staff recommendation is based on the fact that city
utilities are not projected for the imediate future and prior to taking over
this street, it should be brought up to city standards.

Mr. Goodrich and I will discuss this situation in detail at your October 25,
1983 council meeting.

m
