Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b) ~pansion of Study - <br /> <br />Motion by Counctlmember 5chlueter and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />grant the Airport Con~nission authority to expand the scope of their study <br />to include discuss'ions with surrounding cities as to their thoughts on the <br />airport. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~10: Accepting and Awarding Price .quotes For Backstop Fences At Central <br /> Park: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #B3-190 receiving price quotes for backstops and awarding <br />same to Halco Fence Company in the amount of $1,872.00. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution ~83-190}. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner distributed copies of Group W's construction progress <br />report and stated that Group W is behind schedule and upon legal recon~nendation, <br />the Cable Co~ission has enacted the process to fine Group W because everything <br />that Group W offered, that is not profitable to them -- like studios and <br />school facilities, has fallen way behind schedule. Group W also requested <br />switching to Zenith equipment, they said it was of a higher technology, but <br />they never mentioned that in doing so Tier III would be eliminated. The <br />Cable Conmnission Executive Committee is also looking into hiring an accountant <br />to audit Group W's books because according to the attorney, Group W saved a <br />lot of money in not doing things according to schedule. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that the Cable Con~nission is looking for Ramsey's <br />input to this matter. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmeni~er Sorteberg::and secOnded.by Councilmember Reimann that <br />Ramsey wants the contract with Group W enforced and the ordinance complied <br />with. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Building Official Berg approached Council and requested that small <br />commercial buildings, that do not require a variance, may be approved at <br />a City Stafflevel. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution #83-191 directing that when no variance is required for <br />small coranercial buildings, they be approved at a City Staff level. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-191). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Moyor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
