' . - ?":'.~:.:"'-i . <br />-': ."' j" i' O~r concern ie not ~ho prepares the 'plan, but what quality and quantity <br /> standards will be used from comunity to' community or #atershed to watershed:- <br /> Because many communities in this county may have 2 or"3 Water Management <br /> Organizations or Watershed Districts within their boundaries, it is important <br /> that the watershed ~anagement O~ganizations use the same planning and- .' <br /> construction standards. For this reason we are stressing the use of the <br /> USDA - SCS Technical'~uide as the base standard for both. quantitY' <br /> <br /> The Anoka Soil and Water Conservation District is not currently . <br /> capable or qualified for preparin~ a complete surface water management plan, <br /> but we do have valuabl~ information and experience in erosion, sediment, <br /> flood, drainage,' water quality, land use and soils control or management <br /> that is available to unite of government and private coneulttn~ firms, <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> O~r main purpose is to work cooperating with all parties concerned <br />in solving Anoka County's soil and water management problems.
