Promises relating to improved collection and <br />disposal services, free access to the site, screening of the site and <br />development of the site as a future park or recreation area had little <br />influence upon the opinions of opponents or proponents of the land- <br />fill. Fear of possible reductions in property values was the most <br />important negative attitude factor in three of the four survey areas. <br /> <br /> <br />
