Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-05-123 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-01 (SEALCOAT AND <br />CRACK FILL WOODLAWN ESTATES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #03-02-036 on February 11, <br />2003, fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement to sealcoat and <br />crack fill Woodlawn Estates (Improvement Project #03-01) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing <br />was given, and the hearing was held on March 11, 2003, at which time all persons desiring to <br />be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1 ) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on February 11, 2003. <br /> <br />2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this <br /> improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br /> improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />llOlle <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />n O Il e <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
