Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-11-313 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR THE HUMAN <br />RESOURCES MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Givonna Reed was hired as the Human Resources Manager effective May <br />14, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Reed has successfully completed a six-month probationary period as <br />Human Resources Manager; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its November 25, 2003 meeting agreed with <br />staff's recommendation to end the probationary period for Givonna Reed effective November 14, <br />2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Givonna Reed, effective <br />November 14, 2003. <br /> <br />Tile motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councihnember Strommen <br />Councihnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and tile following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />l'qone <br /> <br /> <br />
