Towards the end of 2014 it was decided to not pursue further <br />efforts to consolidate but to utilize the achievements made to date. <br />Rebuild of Station #2 <br />It was decided in 2014 to move forward with the design of a replacement fire station for Station #2 at <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. The new station will be located at the intersection of Alpine Dr. and Helium St. <br />Fire Administration to Station #1 <br />In February of 2014 Fire Administration (Fire Chief and Fire Marshal) moved their offices to Fire Station <br />#1. This was done in an effort to improve communication and assessability to the firefighters. The move <br />has been very sucessful on both fronts. <br />Emergency Management <br />In 2014 supervisory members of Police, Fire and Public Works met to perform a tabletop exercise <br />dealing with a mock train derailment. Goals of the session were to: <br />• Get to know the players from all departments <br />• Structure short-term priorities for the simulation <br />• Continue with long-term plan for needed services <br />
