second bid was received from Ames Construction Incorporated in the amount of $28,499,206.92. <br />The Engineer's construction estimate was $26,955,452.80, and the project continues to be fully <br />funded from the previously identified sources. The Anoka County Board will consider awarding <br />a contract for this project on April 14th. If a contract is awarded, the anticipated start of <br />construction would occur near the end of April, with the closure of Armstrong Boulevard between <br />Sunwood Drive and Riverdale Drive occurring as soon as May 4th.
