Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-02-051 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REVIEWAL FOR PROPERTY/CASUALTY AND <br />WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey reviews and renews its property/casualty and workers <br />compensation insurance on an annual basis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, T.C. Field, the City's Agent of Record for property/casualty and workers <br />colnpensation insurance, has reviewed the City's claims experience and solicited several <br />alternative deductible structures for the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the alternative deductible structures with the City <br />Council and provided expense and revenue information for the City's internal insurance fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the renewal of property/casualty <br />insurance with the deductible structure. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the renewal of workers <br /> compensation insurance policy per the current deductible structure of $2,500 per <br /> claim/1,000,000 maximum per claim. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councihnember Strommen <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
