Special Planning Commission (Immediately following Joint EPB /Planning — LIR) <br />• Review 2015 Amendment to Metropolitan Council Housing Policy Plan <br />Council Update <br />City Improvement Project Updates <br />• Highway 10 & Armstrong Boulevard Interchange <br />• This project involves replacing the existing signalized at -grade intersection at <br />Highway 10 & Armstrong Boulevard with a grade- separated interchange and <br />bridge over the railroad tracks. <br />• Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in late April and to be substantially <br />complete by November 2015. <br />• Armstrong Boulevard between Sunwood Drive and Riverdale Drive is tentatively <br />scheduled to be closed from May 4 th through substantial completion of the <br />project. <br />o More detailed project information will soon be available on -line at <br />www.highwayIOanda,rmstrong.com <br />Riverdale Drive Extension /Reconstruction <br />This project involves reconstructing Riverdale Drive between Armstrong <br />Boulevard and the cul -de -sac east of Alpaca Street, and extending Riverdale <br />Drive to Traprock Street. <br />Construction began in September 2014 and is scheduled to be completed in June <br />2015. <br />More detailed project information is available on -line at <br />www.cityoframsey.com/Riverdaledrive <br />Center Street Improvements <br />• This project involves constructing a new bituminous street (Center Street) <br />between Sunwood Drive and Ramsey Parkway, across from the Municipal Center <br />plaza. <br />• Construction began in October 2014 and is scheduled to be completed in July <br />2015. <br />More detailed project information is available on -line at <br />www.cityoframsey.com/CenterStreet <br />EAB Information Meeting. Anoka County residents are invited to attend a public meeting on <br />Thursday, April 30 regarding Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) being discovered in Anoka County. The <br />meeting, which will be hosted by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA), will be held <br />at the Anoka County Parks Activities Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304, <br />beginning at 6:00 pm. The MDA will also be accepting comments regarding a formal quarantine <br />for Anoka County to help limit the spread of EAB between April 15 and May 30, 2015. Anoka <br />County was placed under an emergency quarantine by the MDA when EAB was initially <br />discovered in Ham Lake in March and the MDA proposed to adopt the formal quarantine on June <br />15, 2015.
