Mr. Schnelle stated that the proposed ordinance provides that protection <br />to those who do not want sewer and water. <br /> <br /> Chairman Greenberg stated that he has been in Ramsey since it was a township. <br /> He stated that he bought a farm and rented it to a family with 4 children <br /> and the taxes were $240/year and that same farm yields $150,000 in taxes <br /> today..The property is located in an industrial zone. If development is <br /> orderly it can be an asset to.the homeowner and community.. It is up to ~' <br /> the City to decide who orderly development will come into the community <br /> without bankrupting existing businesses and I feel there is a middle ground <br /> and it is feasible.
