I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />ELECTIONS <br /> <br />PRECINCT CAUCUSES MOVED TO LATER DATE <br /> <br /> In order to shorten the length of state election campaigns, precinct caucus <br />dates have been changed from the fourth 5~esday .in pebruary to the third Tuesday <br />in March. Caucuses will still begin at 8 p.m. <br /> <br />BARS OPEN ON ELECTION DAY <br /> <br /> Liquor establishments will be allowed open on election day in Minnesota', <br />according to legislation passed this session. However, local governments will implement <br />the law at their discretion. <br /> <br />ELECTION JUDGES <br /> <br /> Election judges must be allowed to be absent from work to perform their duties <br />if they provide an employer with 10 days written notice. The employer is allowed to <br />deduct salary for absence. Judges are to be paid at least minimum wag9s for training <br />sessions. <br /> <br />VOTER REGISTRATION <br /> <br /> When registering to vote, an individual must include date of birth, but counties <br />and municipalities are ~rohibited from making that information available to the <br />public. <br /> <br /> <br />
