Mayor Strommen, Councilmember <br />Shryock, Fire Chief Kapler, and City Administrator Ulrich attended a Minnesota House <br />Transportation Committee hearing on Thursday, April 23, at which the US Highway 10 bills were <br />heard, including HF 2127, the rail crossing bill for Ramsey and Sunfish Lake Boulevards. State <br />Representative Abigail Whelan authored the bill. Mr. Tinklenberg will also be attending on behalf <br />of the City. <br />City of Ramsey EDA Business Expo a Success! On Saturday, April 18 the City of Ramsey <br />EDA hosted its 7 th annual EDA Business Expo at the Fountains of Ramsey. An estimated 300 <br />visitors stopped by for an afternoon of fun giveaways and a chance to learn about the products and <br />services of 50 local businesses! Attached to this Weekly Update is the 2015 EDA Business Expo <br />Recap Offering More Information and Pictures from the Event. <br />Update on April 9 Planning Commission Cases. On the April 9 Planning Commission, there <br />were three (3) significant land use applications under review that will be reviewed by the City <br />Council on various dates.
