20 WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on April 1, 2004, conducted a public hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the request for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the adjacent land uses are designated as Rural Developing, Low Density Residential, and Medium Density Residential; and WHEREAS, the City finds that given the variety of lot sizes and development intensity surrounding the subject property, a land use designation of Low Density Residential is appropriate. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a.land use designation change of the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential for the following parcels: PID # 23-32-25-22-0011 2.~-_~2-25-2.>000.> 3-_~2-_5-2.2~0005 23-32-25-23-0004 23-32-25-23-0001 23-32-25-23-0010 That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary documentation to Metropolitan CoUncil for an amendment to the 200i Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. 3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification of approval from Metropolitan Council.
