Further, if Mr. Swedal does not <br />comply with said agreement, the City will take legal action to have said <br />structure removed from Mr. Swedal's property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Violation Of Scenic River Ordinance #81-4; Case Of Mr. Edward Potter, <br /> <br />17665 Argon Street NW: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that DNR will overlook Mr. Potter's violation regarding <br />vegatative cutting and grading of river bank if Mr. Potter provides a landscape <br />plan and executes said plan. Mr. Potter does not feel that a landscape plan <br />is necessary. The City is reciving complaints from other property owners <br />along the river who are abiding by DNR ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec that Mr. Potter be required to provide the City with a <br />landscape plan by the February 22, 1983 Council meeting and that all plantings <br />be complete by June 1, 1983. Further, that the City of Ramsey is considering <br />turning the matter over to the City Attorney in order to have City ordinance <br />carried out. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Schnelle recommended requiring a $500 bond from Mr. <br />Edward Potter. Council consensus is not to require a bond. <br /> <br />Motion seconded by Councilmember Reimann. <br /> <br />Motion carried. City Attorney's Status Report On Landfill Lawsuit; <br /> B. Landfill Well Re~orts): <br /> <br />A. Council noted receiving the following documents: <br /> <br />1. City Attorney's memo dated January 19, 1983. <br /> <br />2. Summons and complaint which the City of Ramsey has served on the City <br /> of Anoka. <br /> <br />B. Landfill Well Reports - <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that in the future, the landfill well reports will be <br />sent directly to the City of Ramsey and not to the County first. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka noted that the nitrates are up on Well ~3. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann requested that Mr. Raatikka review the matter and <br />report back to Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner requested that Mr. Raatikka compare this years <br />well report with last years and report back to Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has been contacted by PCA regarding landfill <br />expansion and they want to know if Ramsey is planning to take any action, <br /> <br />C/January 25, 1983 <br />Page 5 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
