PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing regarding On-sale liquor license application for Mr. James <br />Gilbertson, 6141 Highway ~10 NW, Ramsey (Side Door Lounge) was called to order <br />by Mayor Gamec at 7:38 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 1983 at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center, 15153 Nowthen BLvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Jeanne Schlueter <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson <br /> <br />Mr. James Gilbertson was not present for the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that she had spoken to Mr. Gilbertson earlier <br />in the day and that he was planning on attending tonight's meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that all necessary fees have been paid and the issue has <br />been reviewed by the City Police Department. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter noted that City Ordinance states that a person shall <br />not be affiliated with no more than one liquor organization within the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that Mr. Gilbertson is selling Discount #10 <br />Liquors. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter inquired whether or not Discount #10 Liquors will be <br />sold prior to Council approval of Mr. Gilbertson's application for an on-sale <br />license for Side Door Lounge. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
