Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />F) Rates For Licenses, Permits And Services - <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that staff has provided Council with a list of licenses, <br />permits and services the City has and has not established a fee for. <br />Council should review that list for adjustments. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that certain permits and licenses have amount limits <br />imposed by other agencies; otherwise, permit or user fees are established <br />at a rate that will cover the administration of the permit, license or <br />service. <br /> <br />The following direction resulted from the ensuing discussion: <br /> <br />a) The newly established Grading and Mining Permit 'should be added to <br /> the list of permits and licenses in Ramsey. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Setting a permit fee for the Keeping of Wild Animals Permit and <br />the Mining and Grading Permit shall be placed on the January 12 <br />Council agenda for action. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Add Environmental Permit at a fee of $300 and an Off-Sale Liquor <br />License at a fee of $200 to the list of licenses and permits in <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />The Budget Committee is to review the list of existing and <br />possibly needed licenses and permits in Ramsey and their related <br />fees and recommend any adjustments to City Council. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />The Budget Committee should be provided with information regarding <br />which licenses and permits have limit amounts imposed by other <br />agencies and which types of permits and licenses are requiring <br />the most policing and/or staff enforcement. <br /> <br />Case #2: Re¥iew Fire Safety Committee RePort: <br /> <br />The following members of the Fire Safety Committee were present to review <br />the Fire Safety Committee Report with Council and staff: <br /> <br />Mr. David Bawden <br />Mr. Gary Dirks <br />Mr. Roger Mechels <br />Mr. William Rusted <br />Mr. James Cordie <br />Mr. Lloyd Reimann <br /> Special City Council/January 11, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
