5 Minutes CASE <br /> <br />DESIGNATE MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET <br />By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On June 4, 1986 I submitted a request to change MSAS Route #112 to the District <br />State Aid Engineer, Mr. Charles Weichselbaum. This change moved the location <br />of the terminus of 153rd Avenue NW from the weigh station to the Elk River City <br />1 imits · <br /> <br />In August I received preliminary approval of the change and the City was <br />authorized to construct 153rd Avenue NW to Andrie Street NW. To formalize the <br />approval, resolutions must be adopted and forwarded to the Commissioner of <br />Transportation. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information are the following items: <br /> <br />a) Letter dated June 4, 1986 to Mr. Charles Weichselbaum with sketch of <br /> proposed change <br />b) Proposed resolution revising Municipal State Aid Street System <br />c) Proposed resolution establishing Municipal State Aid Highway <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #86-. <br /> <br />revising Municipal State Aid Street System. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #86-. <br /> <br />establishing Municipal State Aid Highway. <br /> <br />The Council may also wish to consider future MSAS projects for 1987. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator X <br />Attorney ... <br />Engineer X <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
