Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Sieber, Lichter, <br />Bauerkemper, Buchanan and Greenberg. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Gamec, Data and Titterud. <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman called for other nominations. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Buchanan and seconded by Commissioner Sieber to close <br />the nominations for Secretry. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Sieber, Lichter, <br />Bauerkemper, Buchanan and Greenberg. Voting NO: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Titterud, Data and Gamec. <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman turned the meeting over to the newly elected Chairman, Dick <br />Sieber, and presented him with the official copy of the Ramsey City Charter <br />and other charter information and papers that were being held by the Chairman. <br /> <br />Case 94: Discussion.Of CitY Newsletter: <br /> <br />Discussion ensued as to whether or not Council minutes should be published in <br />their entirety. Commission consensus was that the publisher of the newsletter <br />be given a copy of the City Charter for their use in researching just exactly <br />what needs to be published. <br /> <br />~Case 95: Charter Handbook: <br /> <br />Chairman Sieber mentioned a pamphlet to be written as a Charter Handbook to be <br />used by the citizens to help them understand and use the Charter. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that the Charter Commission should not write the <br />pamphlet because of possible legal implications. <br /> <br />~se 91: (Continued) <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the fact that the City has not honored the Charter <br />Commission's request for copies of documentation supporting the City's <br />compliance with the new Charter. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter and seconded by Commissioner Buchanan to <br />request that the City Administrator provide all Charter Commission members <br />with copies of all ordinances prepared in response to the Ramsey Charter, <br />particularly sections 8.03, 7.07.01, 7.09, 7.06.02 and 12.2, by December 1, <br />1984 for their comprehensive review and analysis. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Sieber, Commissioners Heitman, Lichter, <br />Bauerkemper, Buchanan and Greenberg. Voting NO: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Titterud, Gamec and Data. <br /> <br />~ase 96: Setting Of Nex~ Meeting Date: <br /> <br />Co~ission consensus is that if the documentation requested in Case 91 is not <br />received by December 1, 1984, the Charter Commission will meet on December 6, <br />1984.
