Absent: <br />Commissioners Data and Gamec. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Sieber and seconded by Commissioner Bauerkemper to have <br />a general mailing to all residents and businesses in Ramsey informing them of <br />the Public Hearing Regarding the Proposed Charter scheduled for September 28, <br />1983. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Titterud inquired as to the cost of this <br />proposed general mailing. Commissioner Bauerkemper replied that the bulk <br />mailing would cost approximately $289.00 and copying charges would be about <br />$1oo. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Sieber, Buchanan, <br />Greenberg, Bauerkemper, Lichter,and~Titterud. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Data and Gamec. <br /> <br />Commission requested Commissioner Bauerkemper to request City Staff have the <br />audio equipment moved to Ramsey Elementary School for the subject public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Commission requested Commissioner Bauerkemper to contact Ramsey Elementary <br />School regarding two overhead projectors, two screen, chalk boards, transparencies, <br />grease pencils, paper and pencils for audience use, and arrangements be made for <br />seating. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that it would be more proper for the Charter Commission <br />not to express a position on the proposed charter. Members may express personal <br />opinions, if they note them as such. <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman volunteered to work up a summary of the proposed charter to <br />be available at the public hearing. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Greenberg and seconded by Commissioner Lichter to adjourn <br />this meeting of the Ramsey Charter Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
