Miscellaneous - <br /> <br />1. Commissioner Lichter: Summary of Council And Other City Commission <br /> Meetings: <br /> <br />Commissioner Lichter was not present. <br /> <br />2. Commissioner Sieber: Charter Punchlist Preparation And Review: <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber distributed copies of the current punchlist which <br />is included in these minutes as Attachment II. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber stated that there are changes and/or additions in the <br />draft as compiled so far that must be dealt with, preferably tonight. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is to approve the agenda and to include changes and/or <br />additions to the charter draft as constructed thus far and that those changes <br />and/or additions will be discussed following 'Approval of Agenda'. <br /> <br />~anges To Charter Draft As Constructed Thus Far: <br /> <br />1. Section 2.06.02 - Second Line - Change 'mayor may' to 'mayor shall' <br /> <br />2. Section 3.02 - 2nd line - Change 'There' to "These'. <br /> <br />Section 3.05 - Commissioner Sieber suggested that some wording should be <br />included in this section regarding a sufficient number of copies of <br />ordinances being available for public review at Council meetings. <br />Commissioner Sieber noted that at the last Council meeting ordinances <br />were passed, there were not enough copies available for the public to <br />review, there were discrepancies in the copies that were made available <br />to the public and the copies that were available to the Staff and Council, <br />and that by the time he finished reviewing his copy the ordinance had <br />already been passed. <br /> <br />Susan Beale, who was present in the audience, stated that State law covers <br />this issue. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is to carry this item over to the punchlist for further <br />discussion. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Section 5.04 - Chairman Heitman stated that he did not repeat the phrase <br />'as defined in sections 5.03 and 5.02 respectively' in line 10 of this <br />section,and Commissioner Lichter feels differently according to his <br />written input for this meeting. <br /> <br /> CC/September 8, 1983 <br /> Page 3 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
