<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-02-042 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A 2-YEAR LABOR AGREEMENT WITH LELS- <br />PATROL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the current LELS-Patrol contract expires on December 31, 2014; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, <br /> city staff and LELS-Patrol have reached a tentative agreement on a <br />two-year labor agreement, effective January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City and LELS-Patrol have tentatively agreed to all articles <br />within the contracts, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City and LELS-Patrol have tentatively agreed to an updated <br />salary schedule based on a two-percent COLA in 2015 and 2016 effective January 1, <br />2015 through December 31, 2016; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City and LELS-Patrol have tentatively agreed to a market rate <br />adjustment effective April 1, 2016 increasing the “top” patrol wage by two percent (2%) <br />and increasing pro-pay to the comparable market; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City and LELS-Patrol have tentatively agreed to continue the <br />Memorandum of Understandings for health insurance based on updated figures, to <br />continue the uniforms based on updated terms, to begin a Memorandum of understanding <br />for a post-employment healthcare savings plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City will administer the 2015-2016 labor agreement as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE TWENTY FIVE (25) DURATION: <br />2-years / January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016 <br /> <br />ARTICLE TWENTY THREE (23) SALARIES: <br />2015: 2% Increase to the 2014 wage scale, effective on 01-01-15, for a Cost of Living <br />Adjustment. <br /> <br />2016: 2% increase to the 2015 wage schedule, effective on 01-01-16 for Cost of Living <br />Adjustment. <br /> <br />April 1, 2016: Increase the “top” patrol wage by two percent (2%) and increase pro- <br />pay to the comparable market as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution #15-02-042 <br />Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br />
