<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-02-047 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR 2015 STREET SWEEPING <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEAREAS, <br />an invitation for quotations were mailed to nine contractors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to an advertisement for quotes published on January 30, 2015 and <br />February 6, 2015 for the 2015 Street Sweeping Program, quotes were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the following is a summary of the quotes that were received: <br /> <br /> <br />Contractor Total Bid <br /> <br />Pearson Bros. Inc. $32,000.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Pearson Bros. Inc.is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Pearson Bros. Inc. for 2015 Street Sweeping, in the amount of $32,000.00, and <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the `foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-02-047 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
