Case #3: Adoption Of Utility Ordinance (Water And Sanitary Sewer): <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that wording has been added to Section <br />210.0218 and proceeded to read that section aloud. <br /> <br />Council had no objections to the addition of certain wording. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that on Page 12 of the Ordinance, <br />Item #5, the Section # 210.0218 should be inserted in the blank <br />provided. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner to dispense with the reading of the proposed Utility <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 210.01 of the City Code of~Ramsey, <br />Minnesota, known as the "Street Assessment" Chapter. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the proposed ordinance was introduced on <br />July 24, 1984 and posted according to charter requirements. If <br />Council adopts the ordinance tonight, a summary of the ordinance <br />will be published in the official newspaper and it will become <br />effective 30 days after publication. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter stated that it appears as though Item #3 <br />on page 3 of the proposed ordinance is in need of some additional <br />wording. <br /> <br />Council consenus is that the last sentence of Item 3 on page 3 should <br />read as follows: 'Any property owner who can demonstrate that <br />hookup to municipal sewer is not feasible due to distance or <br />topography or pending land use change, should not be required to <br />hookup.' <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg to adopt Utility Ordinance #84- 7. (Please refer to <br />Ordinance file for Ordinance #84-7 ). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called for a roll call vote: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg - Aye <br />Councilmember Van Wagner - Aye <br />Councilmember Schlueter - Aye <br />Councilmember Reimann - Aye <br />Mayor Gamec - Aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #4: Authorization To Purchase Mobile Radio For City Vehicle: <br /> <br />Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the <br />proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner to adopt Resolution #84-140 approving the purchase of <br />a mobile radio for the City tractor at a cost of $613.00 through <br />Hennepin County Purchasing.
