Letter dated August 1984 from Mr. James J. Solem of the Minnesota <br /> Housing Finance Agency regarding energy conservation programs. <br /> <br />54. Letter dated July 18, 1984 from Ms. Sandra S. Gardebring of the <br /> Metropolitan Council to Mr. Thomas T. Feeney of the Department of <br /> housing and Urban Development regarding Flintwood Hills Second <br /> Addition and attachment letters. <br /> <br />Counci 1 mer~lber Reimann referred to <br />Buchite's claim is an ongoing item. <br /> <br />Item #21 and inquired if Mr. <br /> <br />Mr'. Schnelle replied that Mr., Buchite had accepted final settlement <br />fron~ the City's insurance company and has now hired a new attorney and <br />is attempting to have the case reopened. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />Council noted the following Staff Reports: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Building Official <br />Chief of Police <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />COUNCIL_ OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: Adoption Of Resolution For Issuance Of Im.provement <br /> <br />Bond: <br /> <br />Council unanimously <br />proposed resolution. <br /> <br />consented to dispense with the reading of the <br /> <br />Mr. Wayne Burggraaff of Evensen Dodge, Inc. was present and stated <br />that Evensen Dodge has prepared a brief pre-sale analysis on the <br />proposed bond issue and the resolution, for Council's consideration <br />and action, when adopted, will authorize sale of these bonds. The <br />sale is to occur on September 85, 1984 and the total a~ount is <br />$2,045,000. Mr. Burggraaff stated that the bonds would be repaid over <br />a debt schedule extending out to 1996. Proceeds of the sale will be <br />used for improvement purposes in the River's Bend project. Mr. <br />Burggraaff then reviewed the payment schedule with Council. <br /> <br />Mot ic, n by Counci lmember Reimann and seconded by Counci imember <br />Sort eberg to adopt Resol ut ion #84-173 which issues a general <br />obligation improvement bond in the amount of $8,045,000.00 for public <br />in'~provements for River's Bend.
