Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-05-114 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO EXCEED THE <br />ALLOWABLE MEAN GABLE HEIGHT FOR A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING <br />ON A PROPERTY LESS THAN TWO (2) ACRES IN SIZE. <br />WHEREAS, Allen and Alycia Skogquist (Permittee) have properly applied for a variance <br />to Section 117-349 (Accessory Uses and Buildings) of the Ramsey City Code regarding the <br />maximum allowable mean gable height for a detached accessory building on the property generally <br />known as 9491 Inverness Lane NW and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Northfork Highlands Second Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota, <br />subject to easement as shown on plat <br />(Subject Property). <br />AND WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 7, 2015, <br />pursuant to Section 117-53 of the Ramsey City Code, and adopted findings of fact relating to the <br />request for a variance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That based on Findings of Fact #0945, a variance (the "Variance") to the allowable mean gable <br />height for a detached accessory building (the "Building") on the Subject Property is hereby <br />granted. <br />2. That the mean gable height of the Building shall not exceed twenty (20) feet, measured from <br />the mean grade adjacent to the Building. <br />3. That the Building shall comply with all required setbacks on the Subject Property. <br />4. That the exterior finish of the Building shall be the same as that of the principal building on <br />the Subject Property. <br />5. That the proposed Building shall comply with all other applicable Zoning, Building, and Fire <br />Code standards. <br />6. The Permittee shall be responsible for all costs incurred in administering and enforcing this <br />Variance. <br />7. That the Permittee shall obtain all necessary permits prior to commencing any construction <br />activity related to the Building. <br />
