C/September 10, 1984 <br />Wagner to adopt Resolution #84-188 approving Amendment 984-6 to <br />1984 City Budget; Increase Park Fund Acct. 215-2150-1510 from <br />$3,200 (as established by Buget Amendment #1) to $4,600 to allow <br />for the purchase of grass seeder. Bids <br />Q~ Pump House: <br /> <br />Council consensus was to dispense with the reading of the <br />proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to adopt Resolution #84-190 approving of plans and <br />specifications and ordering the advertisement for bids for pump <br />house. Voting No: Councilmember <br />S~lueter. <br /> <br />Improv~ents ~ C~v WiS CiO ~r~ <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that in order to comply with <br />Charter Chapter 8, Council shall, within 90 days of effective <br />date of charter, adopt and establish complete working code for <br />special assessments within the City. Mr. Goodrich stated that <br />the ordinance amendment is a combination of Charter requirements <br />and Minnesota State Statute 429 and it basically reads the same <br />as Mounds View's ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he thinks Mounds View is currently making <br />changes to their ordinance and it might be good to find out just <br />what changes they found to be necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich also distributed copies of proposed ordinances <br />regarding on-sale and off-sale of liquor on election days; the <br />State now allows for liquor sales on election days but cities can <br />be more restrictive; Anoka and Coon Rapids have adopted <br /> <br />Page 11 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
