Liquors Off-Sale, Private Club And On-Sale Wine Licenses; C. <br />Ordinance #84-10, ~mendment To Chapter 130.05, Intoxicating <br />Liquor): <br /> <br />a) Ordinance #84-8, ~mendment To Chapter 210.1, Street Assessment Chapter <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to dispense with the reading of the proposed Ordinance #84-8. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. ~bsent: Councilmember <br />Reimann. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle referred to September 20, 1984 letter from Mr. Terry Hall of <br />LeFevere, Lefler, Kennedy, O'Brien & Drawz included in Section D2p of <br />tonight's agenda and stated that language regarding the following portion <br />of that letter will have to be incorporated into Ordinance #84-8: <br /> <br />"I would note that section 210.13 of your proposed public improvement <br />ordinance does have language which authorizes the issuance of bonds at the <br />time an improvement is ordered; however this language must be read with <br />the language in charter section 8.05.03 which does not allow the City to <br />order an improvement until bids are received." <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Mayor Gamec to adopt <br />Ordinance 984-8, an amendment to Chapter 210.01 which is known as the <br />Street Assessment Ordinance of the City of Ramsey. Further, this <br />Ordinance will include the correction as stated in the above discussion <br />and a summary form of the Ordinance will be published. (Please refer to <br />ordinance file for Ordinance #84-8). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called for a roll call vote: <br /> <br />Councilm~ber Sorteberg - Aye <br />Councilmember Van Wagner - Aye <br />Mayor Gamec - Aye <br />Councilmember Schlueter - Aye <br />Councilmember Reimann - Absent <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />b) Ordinance #84-9, ~mendment to Chapter 130.09, Intoxicating Liquors Off- <br /> Sale, Private Club and On-Sale Wine Licenses - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter <br />to dispense with the reading of Ordinance #84-9. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
