PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing regarding assessments for Rolling Green Addition <br />Street Surfacing Project #84-2 was held on Tuesday, September 25, <br />1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Reimann <br /> <br />CA55 TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:20 p.m <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak reviewed the project and it's costs. <br /> <br />Doug Thurston - 16661 Dolomite - Inquired if the assessment can <br />be paid off sooner than the 10 year scheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested that Mr. ~hurston contact the City Clerk <br />for financing information. <br /> <br />Bob Loscheider - 16531 Dolomite - Inquired if periodic <br />inspections were made during the blacktopping and why was the <br />contractor doing some patchwork already. <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak replied that periodic inspections were made. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City Engineer took samples of the <br />blacktopping and the thickness was insufficient and the <br />contractor had to redo it. <br /> <br />Bob Loscheider - Stated that some residents had their yards <br />finished off completely to the road edge and does the City have <br />any plans to tear it up again or is it safe to redo the yards? <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City is not accepting responsibility <br />for anything in the City right-of-way. <br /> <br /> <br />
