N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Gamec, Mayor <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich (Arrived 7:36 p.m.) <br />Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson <br />City Accountant Jeanne Haapala <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />CALL TO OI~DER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. and led in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Dale McKnight - 7221 150th - Present representing Ramsey Jaycee's and <br />request permission to place Jaycee's signs on the highways coming into <br />Ramsey welcoming people to Ramsey and promoting the Jacycee's; signs are <br />approximately 18"x24" in size. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that signs must be off the right-of-way and permission <br />to place the signs must be obtained from the property owner. Discussion <br />ensued regarding possibility of attaching Jacycee signs to the 'City of <br />Ramsey' signs. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner approving <br />the request of the Ramsey Jaycee's to place their signs within the City of <br />Ramsey either attached to the City signs or within a designated area and <br />that the sign fee, if any, will be waived. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember <br />Reimann. <br /> <br />Dale McKnight - Request permission for the I~amsey Jaycee's to utilize the <br />City's official logo on the local Jaycee newsletter. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
