area. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Resident Bernhard Riewe stated persons let their <br />dogs loose at night and the dogs rob the gopher traps; he is having a <br />real problem with gophers this year. Councilmember Reimann stated <br />that Mr. Riewe could place a $50 deposit with the City for the use of <br />the gopher machine to place poison around the perimeter of his <br />property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b) Discussion Of National Cable T.V. Conference - <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that he attended the National Cable T.V. <br />Conference and found that every city throughout the Country is having <br />problems with their suppliers. Councilmember Reimann stated that he <br />has learned that there is a lot to be gained from Cable T.V. if used <br />to it's ultimate. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that Group W claims that they are not <br />making the money that they projected to and it is possible that an <br />audit will be taken to see how Group W stands. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding Cable T.V. service to residents of <br />Driscoll Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that he would meet with Terry O'Connell regarding <br />this issue prior to the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />c) Discussion of Possibility Of A 4-Wheel Drive Vehicle Being <br /> Purchased For Use By Police Dept., Public Works Dept. and Parks. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that he has talked with Chief Auspos <br />regarding the need for a 4-Wheel Drive vehicle to be used for <br />patrolling for unleashed dogs, 3-wheel vehicles, motorcycles, etc. <br />Councilmember Reimann suggested that the Budget Con~ittee should try <br />and find a way to finance such an item between the deparh~ents of <br />police, parks and public works. <br /> <br />d) December Meeting Dates - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Schueter <br />that Council conduct a regular meeting on December 11, 1984 and that <br />the meeting originally scheduled for December 25, 1984 be cancelled <br />and that Councilmember Reimann may come into City offices to approve <br />bills for payment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner.
