Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-02-036 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #15-00, DIVISION B; <br />2015 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to mill and overlay various street segments <br />with Division B of the 2015 Street Maintenance Program for the purpose of maintaining these <br />streets as cost-effectively as possible; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to assess all benefiting properties for 25 - <br />percent of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, the City <br />Charter, and the City's adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the proposed improvements, designated as Improvement Project #15-00, Division B, be <br />referred to the City Engineer for study and that the City Engineer is instructed to report to the <br />Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the <br />proposed improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether they should best be <br />made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the <br />improvements as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate <br />individual assessments for affected parcels. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Williams <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />
