Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-02-050 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR 2015 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM DIVISION B <br />CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #15-20 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 10, 2015, a <br />Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to proposed bituminous <br />pavement overlay improvements to numerous public street segments within the City of Ramsey <br />as Division B of the 2015 Street Maintenance Program, including other appurtenant work as <br />needed; and <br />WHEREAS, benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and in accordance with <br />Chapter 8 of the City Charter, applicable City codes, and the City of Ramsey's adopted Special <br />Assessments Policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received the Feasibility Report on February 24, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />project is necessary, cost-effective and feasible; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The Council will consider the proposed improvements for Division B of City <br />Improvement Project 15-00 in accordance with the Feasibility Report and the assessment <br />of benefiting properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429, and in accordance with Chapter 8 of the City Charter, <br />applicable City codes, and the City of Ramsey's adopted Special Assessments Policy, at <br />an estimated total cost of $644,000. <br />2. A Public Hearing will be held on such improvements on the 10th day of March, 2015 in <br />the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
