PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, November 27, <br />1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Accountant Jeanne Haapala <br />City Assessor Lester Wirz <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. and led in the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />?UBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec adjourned the regular meeting at 7:41 p.m. in order to conduct the <br />following public hearing: <br /> <br />Public hearing regarding petition to vacate all that part of Helium <br />Street NW as laid out and dedicated for turn-around purposes; Brook <br />View Estates. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting back to order at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Jim Battenberg - 7471 150th Lane NW - Stated that he would like to go on <br />record as a petitioner of one requesting what Council intends to do about the <br />drainage problem at his residence. Mr. Battenberg stated that his home is <br />unsaleable because a certain body of water, regulated by DNR, is creeping onto <br />his property and decreased his lot size to less than one acre. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that if Mr. Battenberg's lot is a lot of record, <br />the decrease in lot size does not make the lot unsaleable. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
