<br />Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-03-070 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR 2015 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM, DIVISION B <br />CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #15-00 <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 10, 2015, a <br />Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to proposed bituminous <br />pavement overlay improvements to numerous public street segments within the City of Ramsey as <br />Division B of the 2015 Street Maintenance Program, including other appurtenant work as needed; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and in accordance with <br />Chapter 8 of the City Charter, applicable City codes, and the City of Ramsey’s adopted Special <br />Assessments Policy; and <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City Council received the Feasibility Report on March 10, 2015; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the Feasibility Report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1.The Council will consider the proposed improvements for Division B of City Improvement <br />Project 15-00 in accordance with the Feasibility Report and the assessment of benefiting <br />properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statues, Chapter 429, and in accordance with Chapter 8 of the City Charter, applicable <br />City codes, and the City of Ramsey’s adopted Special Assessments Policy at an estimated <br />total cost of $634,880. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />2.A Public Hearing will be held on such improvements on March 24, 2015 in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice <br />of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br />RESOLUTION #15-03-070 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
