ORDINANCE 884-17 City of Ramsey Anoka County State of Minnesota AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE 884-8 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE "PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS - SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS" ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, WHICH ORDINANCE AMENDS SECTION 210.01 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE. 0n Ordinance amending Chapter 210.01 of the City Code of Ramsey. City of Ramsey Ordains: Section 1. Amendment Section 210.01.5 is amended by the addition of the following subdivision: Subdivision 6. Orderin~ IA%P~3~i~_9~. A resolution ordering the improvement may be adopted by the Council after compliance with the provisions of this section. The resolution ordering the improvement may be adopted at any time between sixty (60) days and one year after the date of the public hearing on the improvement by vote of a majority of all members of the Council when the improvement has been petitioned for pursuant to Subdivision 1. When there has been no such petition, the resolution may be adopted only by four-fifths of all members of the Council. Section 2. Amendment The first sentence of Section 210.01.13 is amended in order to correct a typographical error in the reference to Code Section 210.01.5. Said sectence is hereby amended to read as follows: 210.01.13 Financina Subdivision 1. Authority, at any time after one or more improvements are ordered as contemplated in Section 210.01.5 of this Code, the Council may issue obligations in such amounts as it deems necesary to defray in whole or in part the expense incurred and estimated to be incurred in making the improvement or improvements, including every item of cost of the kinds, authorized in Minnesota Statutes 475.65. Section This ordinance becomes effective thirty (30) days after its passage and publication subject to City Charter Section 5.04.
