ORDINANCE 884-17 <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE 884-8 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE "PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENTS - SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS" ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, WHICH ORDINANCE AMENDS SECTION 210.01 OF THE RAMSEY CITY <br />CODE. <br /> <br />0n Ordinance amending Chapter 210.01 of the City Code of Ramsey. <br /> <br />City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />Section 1. Amendment <br /> <br /> Section 210.01.5 is amended by the addition of the <br />following subdivision: <br /> <br /> Subdivision 6. Orderin~ IA%P~3~i~_9~. A resolution <br /> ordering the improvement may be adopted by the Council after <br /> compliance with the provisions of this section. The <br /> resolution ordering the improvement may be adopted at any <br /> time between sixty (60) days and one year after the date of <br /> the public hearing on the improvement by vote of a majority <br /> of all members of the Council when the improvement has been <br /> petitioned for pursuant to Subdivision 1. When there has <br /> been no such petition, the resolution may be adopted only by <br /> four-fifths of all members of the Council. <br /> <br />Section 2. Amendment <br /> <br />The first sentence of Section 210.01.13 is amended in order to <br />correct a typographical error in the reference to Code Section <br />210.01.5. Said sectence is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />210.01.13 Financina <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Authority, at any time after one or more <br />improvements are ordered as contemplated in Section 210.01.5 of <br />this Code, the Council may issue obligations in such amounts as <br />it deems necesary to defray in whole or in part the expense <br />incurred and estimated to be incurred in making the improvement <br />or improvements, including every item of cost of the kinds, <br />authorized in Minnesota Statutes 475.65. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br /> This ordinance becomes effective thirty (30) days after its <br />passage and publication subject to City Charter Section 5.04. <br /> <br /> <br />
