The Mississippi District <br /> <br />Currently there is not a developed municipal park south of Highway #10 within the City of <br />Ramsey, although there is a future 280 acre county wildlife preserve planned for this <br />neighborhood. Proposed in 1993 and 1994, concurrent with development of the Rivenwick <br />residential subdivision, are park and trail improvements paid out of the Park Trust Fund. Intended <br />is a trail system along the Mississippi River connecting to the Mississippi West Regional Park and <br />eventually to the City of Anoka with development as well of a ballfield and playground. This park <br />is also eligible for Tax Increment funds which could be utilized alternatively should funds become <br />available from that source. This is <br />an area of the community currently void of any park development, therefore, it is projected that <br />$65,500 be allocated for 1995 from Land_fill Trust funds ha order to develop the Fox Park and <br />portions of the trail system leading to this park area. <br /> <br />Project - Demarest Brook Year ~ <br />Fox Park 1995 $ 65,500 - LFT <br /> <br />$65,5~ <br /> <br />Project ~t) . Trott Brook <br /> <br />Trott Brook is the park district between Variolite Street N.W. and Ramsey Boulevard N.W. north <br />of 153rd Avenue N.W. and south of Trott Brook. Currently located in the district are the Traprock <br />and Titterud Parks. tt is proposed that in 1996, from the Landfffll Trust Fund, $12,000 be <br />a/located to pave the Titterad parking lot. <br /> <br /> <br />
