CASE # <br /> <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING CASHFLOW PROJECTIONS <br /> By: Jessie L. Hart, Finance Officer <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />It had been anticipated that a cashflow projection for the Charitable Gambling Funds would be prepared <br />for this Finance Committee meeting. After reviewing prior year and current year actual information, and <br />with the current and future status of the City of Ramsey's Charitable Gambling Ordinance in question, I <br />determined it would not be in the best interest to attempt to do a cashflow projection at this time. <br /> <br />I have scheduled a meeting with Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman, the gambling managers from <br />the the organizations with sites currently operating in the City of Ramsey, and potentially a representative <br />from the State of Minnesota Department of Revenue that deals solely with charitable gambling issues. <br />This meeting will be on Wednesday, September 25, 1993 at 6:30 p.m. At that time we will not only <br />review how our current ordinance is worded, but will also review what statutory fights we do have for <br />imposing a mandatory contribution to the City and what other communities in our area are doing in <br />regards to Charitable Gambling control. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE ACTION: <br />Based on discussion. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br /> City Administralor <br /> Fmanee Officer <br /> <br /> <br />
