FIRE BOARD <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Board conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 1993 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Boardmember Alan Pearson <br />Boardmember Robert Simpson <br />Boardmember James Sharp <br />Boardmember Charles Williams <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Fire Chief David Grif£m, ex-officio <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Boardmember Pearson called the meeting of the Fire Board to order at 6:29 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Boardmember Sharp and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Morion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Coundilmember Beyer, Boardmembers <br />Sharp, Pearson, Simpson and Will/ams. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Review Recommendations of Interviewing Panel <br /> <br />Motion by Boardmember Sharp and seconded by Boardmember Simpson to approve the <br />recommendations of the interviewing panel and offer the position of volunteer Fire Fighter <br />to Chris Weiss and Paul Minear. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmember Beyer, Boardmembers <br />Sharp, Simpson, Pearson and Williams. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Boardmember Sharp suggested it is not necessary to meet to review the recommendations <br />of the Interviewing Panel. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder felt that the recommendations should be reviewed by the Fire <br />Board and that the recommendations to Council should come from the Fire Board. <br /> <br />Boardmember Williams agreed that if the Personnel Coordinator, the Fire Chief and the <br />Assistant Fire Chief would recommend hiring individuals, there should be no need to bring <br />it before the Fire Board for their okay. <br /> <br />Fire Board/April 6, 1993 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
