CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> AND <br />LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES, LOCAL #109 <br /> <br />CITY'S RESPONSE TO LELS OPENING POSITION <br /> March 22, 1993 <br /> <br />Article 7 - Standby <br /> <br />LELS would like to change wording to read "the employee shall receive two hours <br />straight pay" instead of the flat $32.00. <br /> <br />The City proposes no increase in the fiat dollar amount for 1993. <br /> <br />The City proposed no increase in the fiat dollar amount for 1994. <br /> <br />Article 17.3 - Holidays <br /> <br />LELS would like to include 3 additional holidays in this section from 7 to 10 <br />holidays that would paid at 1 1/2 times, when worked. <br /> <br />The City proposes to leave the holidays paid at 1 1/2 times, when worked, at 7 for <br />1993. <br /> <br />The City proposes to increase the holidays paid at 1 1/2 times, when worked, to 8 <br />for 1994. <br /> <br />Article 18 - Insurance <br /> <br />LELS proposed increasing the monthly insurance contribution from $250 to $280 <br />per month. <br /> <br />The City proposes to increase the monthly insurance contribution from $250 to <br />$265 per month, which is the same as ail other employee groups for 1993. <br /> <br />The City proposes to increase the monthly insurance contribution for 1994 <br />consistent with the AFSCME bargaining unit and Exempt personnel. <br /> <br />Article 19 - Clothing and Uniforms <br /> <br />LELS would like to include footwear/boots as pan of the duty uniform. It also <br />would like to increase the Investigator's Allowance from $100 to $125 per month. <br /> <br />The City proposes to not change the duty uniform to include footwear/boots for <br />1993. It further proposes to leave the Investigator's Allowance at $100 per month <br />for 1993. <br /> <br />The City proposes to not change the duty uniform to include footwear/boots for <br />1994.
