City of Ramsey
15153 NOWTHEN BOULEVARD N.W., RAMSEY, MINNESOTA 55303 · (612) 427-1410

June 23, 1993

Dear Resident:

Recently the City of Ramsey received notice of available federal funding for completion of the
traitway running from the Flinrwood Hills and kamsey Terrace Parks to the Rarnscy Elementary
School. While the exact rout, of this trailway has not been chosen, it is highly tikety tha; your
property or the property of your neighbors will be impact~ by this bikeway/walkway.

The proposed trail is a non-motorized, eight foot wide bituminous path intended to provide
disability compliant access between the existing parks at the Ramscy Elemental3.' School,
Flmtwood Hilts and Ramscy Terrace, and the developing park at Emerald Pond. Emerald Pond is
located north of County Road #116 just cast of Tungsten Street N.W. This nail will connect to
another bikeway/walkway segment along County Road #116 between Dysprosium Street N.W.
and River's Bend Park, providing access for the neighborhood to all of these various park
amenities.

It is currently contemplated that we will utilize the existing sanitary sewer easement alignment
between Ramsey Terrace and the Wood Pond Hills subdivision. There are two or three proposed
routes between Sunfish Lake Drive and 148th Lane and between 148th Lane and Ramsey
Elementary School. As we delve into this project further, we will be contacting you for your
ad'rice and comments. C.m'rain~y, if you have any opimons as to the most favorable route in your
area, we are anxious to receive them_

If you have comments or questions about this project or other municipal projects, please contact me
at 427-1410.

Sincerely,

Ryan R. Schroeder
CiD, Actrnini~m'ator

Enc.

Oily Council
Steve Jankowski
Mark Boos
Jnrnes Crromberg
Jessie Hart
