Enclosed is my Resume' listing my experience and education. I feel that a well developed and maintained park and recreation system is vital to the growth and development of children and is a integral part of the community. Parks can attract future residents, enhance property values, i.e. growth and development in our area. In making education my career and in working with children for the past 3 years, I am aware of the importance of a well structured and maintained park and recreation system. When parks and recreation are readily available, they can be an essential part of a child's growth and development. They are an excellent place for social and physical development. A well organized recreational department gives children an outlet for their energies and interests, It offers a variety of activities and gives the children something to occupy their time. With the ever increasing growth of gangs and destruction I feel that continual development and progress with parks and recreation will provide a support system. It also promotes family unity. When I grew up in Ramsey, the only organized recreation was located at Ramsey Elementary and it was not easily accessible. Much progress has been made over the past 15 years. However, we must continue to grow and develop to meet the needs of the community today and tomarrow as well. I would like to be a part of these changes. Please contact me soon to set up an interview.
