The project Manger will be Mark <br />Boos, Parks and Utilities Coordinator. As project manager FL r. Boos <br />will be responsible ~or implementation of the project %0 <br />comple~lon, and will bm assisted as needed by the City's <br />EngineEring Lepar~ment, Administrative Staff and FJ. nan~e <br />Department. <br /> <br />All improvements will be by sealed bid meeting specifications set <br />forth by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Upon completion of property acquisition and construction, Mr. Boos <br />will provide on-going liaison status for coordination of facility <br />use and City sponsored programming. <br /> <br />knokm-Hennepin School District ~ll will implement environmental and <br />historical education using %he site as soon as it J.s available <br /> <br />Anoka-Hennepin School District ~11 Instruction Resource Consultant <br />Dr. Randall Johnson and Science Curriculu~ Concu!tant Rod Vacek are <br />enthusiastic over the multitude of entirely unique environmental <br />learning opportunities presented by this one site. District ~ll <br />has designated curriculum dollars towards development of a multi- <br />diciplinary outcome based environmental education curriculum that <br />~ill be exportable to a variety of instructional settings. <br />D,st~_~ ~ll s~ates that the Sunfish Lake site's proximity to the <br />Anoka Sr. High School, the Anoka Technical College and especially <br />Ramsey Elementary School make the site available for Jre~uent and <br />spontaneous use. <br /> <br />With the cooperative resources of the City of Ramsey, School <br />District ~i!, Waste Management of Minnesota, !nc. and participating <br />residents this project wi!! be accomplished economically and will <br />De of high use and quality. <br /> <br /> <br />
